As a recently divorced business professional, my appearance is crucial for work and my new single dating life. When I first noticed my hair thinning it was not just alarming, it was scary. I started to look old. The sun would reflect off my shiny scalp. My hair line disappeared. When I washed my hair, there was no lather on the top because there were just a few strands of hair. I asked my family doctor and he said there were pills and topical potions, but the results are very limited compared to what I want. She also said I could get just the front or just the back done for just $2,990 each.

The procedure went well because I watched movies the whole time, and the surgical team was charming, and asked me about my opinion about areas of concentration. We all agreed not to lower my hairline. The other offices said the doctor will dictate exactly where everything will go, the hairline, temples, I have no say in the matter.

After the procedure I had to wear a baseball cap when I’m in the sun, and after a few days the scabbing came off while shampooing. The new hairs sprouted in just a few weeks. Some of the new hairs fell out, but like everything else they grew back in a week or two. After a year I was getting haircuts every couple of weeks (like when I was 25!). When I see friends from the old neighborhood they say “you haven’t aged a day since I last saw you, you dog!”
